Terms of Hire

  1. At all times during your event, the hired items remain the property of Silver Swan Events.
  2. A non refundable booking fee of 20% is payable to secure the booking.
  3. Final payment of the balance is required 4 weeks in advance of the event. Once the final invoice has been paid we cannot issue refunds on any items. Cancellation will result in the forfeit of the deposit and must be sent in writing to admin@rosalindam.sg-host.com.  We will reply to you sending a confirmation of cancellation. 
  4. At the time of final payment, a refundable security deposit sum on £100 is payable which is in addition to the hire charge. This will be used in the event that any damages occur to any of our hire items and a receipt will be sent to detail the damages.  The security deposit will be refunded 3 working days after the hire items are returned, if no damages have occured.
  5. While the items are on hire, the hirer has sole responsibility for the items from the time of acceptance until the items have been returned to Silver Swan Events in a satisfactory condition. 
  6. Silver Swan Events will not be responsible for any injury or damage to the persons or their property, arising from the goods on hire.
  7.  In adverse weather conditions such as snow and ice, it is Silver Swan Event’s decision whether to deliver/ set up hired goods if it jeopardises the safety of our staff.  We will endeavour to deliver the goods to the venue and exhaust every option before cancelling the booking. It is the responsibility of the hirer to make sure the hired goods are insured for such incidences.  As a gesture of good will, Silver Swan Events will be happy to move the event up to 6 months subject to availability.
